John Filut is responsible for executing the vision defined for HighBeam news products (including www.newser.com). He provides direction and oversight to all product development, marketing, and operations for the HighBeam news products.
Prior to joining HighBeam Research, Filut was the Director of Technical Support at 360Commerce, a point-of-sale software vendor based in Austin Texas. John brings extensive experience in process and operations from his work as an executive consultant at Hoover's, Inc. and from his employment as part of the GE Medical Systems management team. While at GE, he was trained as a Six Sigma black belt and held various positions in marketing and product development.
Filut obtained a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater majoring in Management Computer Systems and holds an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
