Article: New Hampshire and Iowa results spell wide-open race for White House nominations

Hilary Rodham Clinton faces the challenging task of re-establishing herself as the clear Democratic front-runner after a narrow New Hampshire primary win that stunned rival Barack Obama and also saw Republican John McCain staging a dramatic comeback in a race marred by setbacks for the veteran senator.

Clinton rebounded Tuesday night from her loss to Obama in last week's Iowa caucuses _ the first key race in the 2008 presidential race_ and defied polls and pundits to narrowly defeat the 46-year black senator, who packed rallies with his message of change. The win reinvigorated her bid to become the U.S.'s first female president.
