Article: Davis Cup: Horna withdraws with injury, Spain routs Peru 2-0

Straight-set victories by Nicolas Almagro and Tommy Robredo gave Spain a 2-0 lead over Peru in their first-round World Cup Davis Cup tie on Friday.

Nicolas Almagro beat Matias Silva 6-3, 7-5, 6-0, in just under two hours, giving Spain the early lead.

Silva, who was a late replacement Peruvian No. 1 Luis Horna, who injured his right forearm while warming up just before the match, was exhausted after the close second set, and could barely keep up in the third, paving the way for Almagro's win.
