Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov has increased his stake in Arsenal to more than 24 percent.

Usmanov's Red and White Holdings Ltd. did not give the exact percentage in a statement to the London Stock Exchange on Friday, only stating "it now holds a stake of over 24 percent in Arsenal Holdings PLC."

In September, Red and White became the Premier League club's second-largest shareholder with 23 percent.
