Article: Boeing calls Air Force tanker contract "seriously flawed," files protest with government

As Boeing Co. formally protested a$35 billion (euro22.76 billion) Air Force contract on Tuesday, the winning bidder upped its projections of how many jobs the deal would create.

And in Congress, Air Force officials had yet to placate lawmakers from Washington, Kansas, Connecticut and other states that would have gained jobs had Boeing won. At least two_ Rep. Todd Tiahrt, of Kansas, and Rep. Norm Dicks, of Washington _ are considering legislation to overhaul the procurement process or even block funding for the tanker deal.
