Queen Elizabeth II opened the new Terminal 5 building at Heathrow Airport Friday in an important first step toward reviving the dingy, overcrowded facilities at the world's busiest international airport.
She and her husband, Prince Philip, toured the impressive, sun light-filled structure, which will begin operating on March 27 with the arrival of a British Airways flight from Hong Kong.
