Article: Boca Juniors, River Plate share Argentine first-division lead after seventh round

Boca Juniors beat Colon 2-1 and River Plate swept past Velez Sarsfield 2-0 as Argentina's most famous soccer clubs grabbed a share of the Clausura lead on Sunday.

Boca won off goals by Jesus Datolo in the sixth minute and Leandro Gracian in the 38th.

Cesar Gonzales had the lone goal for Colon, which ended one man down after the expulsion of German Rivarola in the 82nd for rough play.

River garnered victory off a goal by Alexis Sanchez in the eight minute, followed two minutes later by Radamel Falcao.

Velez attempted to play catchup in the second half but a shot by striker Alejandro Cabral rattled off the crossbeam in the 55th.
