Article: Colombian police kill major drug lord wanted by US

Colombian police killed a top drug lord on Tuesday for whose capture the U.S. government offered a US$5 million ($3.2 million) reward, the defense minister said.

Miguel Angel Mejia, known as "the twin", was killed in an operation in northern Colombia, said Defense Minister Juan Manuel Santos at a news conference.
