Hillary Rodham Clinton ended a three-day campaign swing across Puerto Rico the same way many Americans mark the U.S. Memorial Day holiday _ with family, friends and a salute to the sacrifices of military men and women.
The Clintons' long history with Puerto Rico _ and Hispanic voters in general _ gives Clinton a decided edge over front-running rival Barack Obama in the island's presidential primary on June 1, not to mention that the senator's home state of New York has approximately 1 million Puerto Ricans. Puerto Rico does not vote in the general election in November.
