Article: British Airways to shift remaining long-haul flights to Heathrow's Terminal 5 after summer

British Airways PLC said Wednesday that it will not shift its remaining long-haul flights to Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 until after the busy summer period.

As the carrier confirmed the flights would be moved from other terminals at the airport in September and October, Heathrow owner BAA disclosed that it had spent 24 million pounds (US$47.5 million; 30.3 million) opening the problematic terminal.

BAA also announced a strong rise in first quarter net profit to 482 million pounds (US$954.4 million; 609.6 million) from 73 million pounds a year ago.
