Article: Exit poll: 1 in 5 voters only have cell phones

In-person exit polling shows that more and more U.S. voters only have cell phones and increasingly they vote differently from those who still have landlines at home.

It's the latest indication that excluding cell users _ as many pollsters still do _ can reduce the accuracy of telephone polls, at least a little. Nevertheless, the 2008 pre-election polls that didn't dial cell phones generally performed well.

Fully 20 percent of people who voted for president Tuesday _ including four in 10 under age 30 _ only have cell phones, according to a national exit poll conducted for The Associated Press and television networks.
