Article: Peanut product recalls

The following recalls have been announced because the products may be contaminated with salmonella, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, especially in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems:

Casey's General Stores Inc. is recalling select peanut products. No illnesses have been reported. The recalled snacks were distributed to Casey's General Stores in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. Details: by phone at 800-831-0828.
