Even if you've never been bullied, chances are you've seen it happen to others.
Maybe you joined in the teasing or fighting to protect yourself. Maybe you kept silent for the same reason. Either way, you were a bystander who played a role in the bullying cycle.
When others silently observe a bully in action, it can provide implied approval of the situation. Bullies often rely on an audience.
