NORFOLK - It was hard to tell the Lutheran choir members from the Episcopal choir members in Stockley Gardens on Sunday - both groups wore white cassocks over black robes. And forget about trying to distinguish Methodists from Catholics from Presbyterians.
But that's the point of the ecumenical blessing of the palms.
About 200 people from eight churches in Ghent flocked to the neighborhood park for a 15-minute service that marked the beginning of Holy Week, which culminates on Easter next Sunday.
