Comedian Brett Butler has been called a big-mouthed blond chick, a gravel-throated harpy, a foot-stamping malcontent and a metaphysical ho.
Not by critics, no.
Those are the badge-of-honor labels she's slapped on her own wayward Southerner self.
The stand-up comic, on the spring leg of her Gravel Throated Harpy Tour, is best known for her role as the title character in the sitcom "Grace Under Fire," which ran on ABC from 1993-98. The successful sitcom was canceled in the wake of the star's struggle with drugs and alcohol.
