LAWRENCE, Kan. _ We blew it. You can call Roy Williams a traitor, a liar, a phony and a hypocrite. You can call him every bad name in the book. He's fair game, and his unseemly exit, which started two months ago, calls his perceived perfect character into question.
My emotions about Mid-America's most beloved basketball coach ran the gamut Monday afternoon in the hours after he ducked in and out of Allen Fieldhouse, abandoning the kids who trusted him and believed that Roy Williams would coach basketball at Kansas until he retired.
Call Williams names. Vent. Cry. Throw a tantrum. Do whatever it takes to get over this ...
