(IDF Spokesperson 15 April 2003) IDF officer, Lieutenant Daniel Mandel, age 24, from Alon Shvut, was killed, and an additional soldier was moderately wounded during an early morning operation to arrest wanted suspects in the city of Nablus. The funeral of Lieutenant Daniel Mandel will take place today, Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at 4:45pm in the Kfar Etzion cemetery. The funeral procession will leave the community of Alon Shvut at 4:10pm. During the operation to arrest the three wanted Hamas terrorists who were found hiding in an apartment, IDF forces asked the wanted terrorists to exit the building.
