The Mobile Data Association (MDA) has announced UK mobile internet WAP page impression (PI) figures on behalf of GSM Network operators O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone. The figure for February 2003 is 483m, taking the daily average to 17.25m compared to 17m in January and 13.5m in December.
February's figure shows an increasing interest in WAP based services. With Christmas promotions ending in January, customers have shown particular interest in seasonal WAP services relating to Valentines Day, horse racing and betting and football services. ...
