NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 15, 2003
As a commitment to America's Promise -- The Alliance for Youth and children's literacy, HarperCollins Children's Books announced today that it is donating 100,000 books to First Book, the nonprofit organization and America's Promise partner that gives children from low-income families the opportunity to read and own their first new books.
The donation coincides with the release of two new books for children, America's Promise and My Little Wagon, by America's Promise Co-chair Alma Powell.
