A group of New South Wales farmers founded an orange juice factory 30 years ago. The four farming families, based near Leeton, each contributed $A10,000 to buy second-hand equipment. They built the factory themselves. An attempt to float the resulting company, Leeton Citrus Juices, was foiled by the 1987 stockmarket crash. The firm went through a series of ownership changes.
