THE HISTORY OF THE ukulele is shrouded, in mystery and folklore. Varying stories tell how the instrument got its start, but one thing is for sure: "ukulele" is Hawaiian for "jumping flea." Johnson Guitars, from The Music Link, has pushed the jumping flea to new heights with its debut of a unique metal-body ukulele.
The new ukulele is built with an all-European bell brass body and an ebony fingerboard that is accented with a classy pearloid headstock overlay.
