Where on earth do I begin to tell the story of what has happened our last three months here at Family Acres? We bought our first orphan calf, went to our first informal horse games/competitions (playday events), bought a used two-horse trailer, as well as a second horse. We also sold off a litter of German shepherd puppies, tilled, manured, planted our first garden, acquired two more kittens, and lived through our first winter in the country. And yet, for me, more important by far than any of the things we have done over the last few months is the fact that I have finally joined in the family vision: I can now say country life is for me too!
