The Dark Horse Tavern is out of the starting gate.
Owners Bob McDonough and Kevin Kelley, who also operate Saratoga Steaks and Seafood, have kicked out the construction workers at the storefront tavern and begun drawing beers and serving upscale pub fare.
The Dark Horse fills the void left with the closing in the fall of the Darkroom, a longtime occupant of the shopping plaza at 4312 E. Genesee St. in DeWitt.
The lunch menu features soups, sandwiches (roasted sirloin on kimmelweck and an 8-ounce burger among them) salads (Caesar with blackened tuna or jerk chicken) and appetizers (calamari, crab ...
