Sharp Electronics Corporation and Aether Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:AETH) a provider of wireless and mobile data solutions, have launched the Aether Attache, an enterprise-class mobile office solution, for the new Sharp Zaurus SL-5600 handheld. The service is available on both the wide area 1xRTT wireless data network and local area 802.11b wireless network.
Attache on the Zaurus offers secure, real-time wireless access to e-mail, the ability to view and edit document attachments, and mobile access to the user's desktop personal information management (PIM).
