The National Library of Australia and National Library Board of Singapore have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will allow both libraries to benefit from each other's expertise and ultimately improve services to users. The MOU, effective for five years, will cover three areas:
* exchange of information about strategic directions and performance management and improvement
* information-sharing and access to new systems, programs and services, and
*co-operation in resource-sharing across all areas of library operations.
