California's Kyle Boller can bring it.
"I've always had a gun. God gave me a strong arm," said Boller, who has emerged as a first-round NFL draft pick after one strong season.
A year ago, Boller was just another rocket-arm quarterback on a bad team. In three years for Cal, Boller had thrown 36 touchdowns and 38 interceptions while completing only 45.1 percent of his passes.
"I used to walk around campus sometimes with a hood on," he said. "Being a quarterback at a Pac-10 university and having a 1-10 record like I had my junior year was not something to be proud of.
