VIRGINIA BEACH -- A Navy SEAL and a submariner have been chosen as the Atlantic Fleet's sea-based and shore-based Sailors of the Year for 2003.
Petty Officer 1st Class Peter Musselman II, assigned to Naval Special Warfare Group Two at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base, was named the fleet's sea-based Sailor of the Year. Petty Officer 1st Class Charles E. Barreras, based at the refit facility for Trident subs in Kings Bay, Ga., was honored as the shore-based Sailor of the Year.
