Apr. 22--PEORIA, Ill.--Larry Ivory and Donald Sharpe believe one of the best opportunities for central Illinois business may be located in Africa.
Ivory, chairman of the Peoria Black Chamber of Commerce, and Sharpe, a Tremont construction engineer who now serves as a consultant, were part of a trade mission to Ghana last month.
Organized by the National Black Chamber of Commerce, the group spent seven days in Accra, the capital and a city of 2 million, said Ivory.
