HARRISBURG, Pa. -- HARRISBURG, Pa., April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- First appointed to the post of Acting Insurance Commissioner in August 1997 by then-Governor Tom Ridge, Diane Koken today stood by Governor Edward G. Rendell at a 1:30 p.m. news conference in the Capitol as he announced that Koken would be his nominee to head up the department in his administration.
