Apr. 21--Houstonian Erik Leonard, who has filed seven lawsuits against efforts to build and fund Houston's three new sports stadiums, was declared a "vexatious litigant" by a Travis County judge Monday and told he needs permission from the courts to continue his legal crusade.
Leonard's current efforts against Minute Maid Park and Reliant Stadium were frozen in Austin by state District Judge Scott H. Jenkins until the Houston man pays $80,000 by May 21 to cover court costs and attorneys fees to keep the suits going.
