SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 23, 2003

CNET Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNET) today reported that revenues for the first quarter ended March 31, 2003 totaled $56.6 million, a two percent increase compared to revenues of $55.7 million for the same period of 2002. The Company's first quarter operating loss was $14.6 million, versus an operating loss of $33.3 million in the same quarter in 2002. Net loss for the first quarter of 2003 was $15.8 million, or $0.11 per share, compared to a net loss of $31.1 million, or $0.22 per share, for the same period last year.
