Seeking to change consumers' attitudes about the public health dangers of pests, the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) has tapped the expertise of five very precocious children. In a new, original 30-second television and radio public service campaign, the child actors inform about the dangerous connection between ticks and Lyme disease, cockroaches triggering asthma in children, and mosquitoes and West Nile Virus.
