I FEEL very strongly that bedwetting is never a child's fault. Making a child feel humiliated with fuss and blame over a wet bed is too painful to think about.
So is taking a child repeatedly to see the doctor and fitting mattresses with built-in alarms, against a child's will.
That only worsens a child's anxiety and may delay bladder control, so I'm against that approach.
I feel a child has to be given time, space, sensitivity and love to master staying dry overnight.
