Apr. 23--The ski lifts at Colorado's second-oldest ski area are coming out.
Berthoud Pass, which nixed lift-service skiing in favor of Sno-Cat skiing in 2001, has sold its pair of chairlifts.
Berkshire East ski area in Massachusetts bought the quad chair and Snow Creek outside Kansas City, Mo., is getting the triple chair.
