PITTSBURGH -- PITTSBURGH, April 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The pesticides, insecticides, paints, and other toxic materials gathering dust in homes across Southwest Pennsylvania can now be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner at the Household Hazardous Waste Collection event scheduled for May 31 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Heinz Field Parking Lot Gold #2.
And since the event marks the first time the region has had a coordinated HHW collection event, planners are expecting up to 4,000 people to participate.
