ILIGAN CITY At least 21 Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) rebels, including a commander, and 12 civilians were killed and seven Army soldiers and 11 other civilians were wounded in fierce gunbattles erupted in three areas in the towns of Maigo and Kulambogan, Lanao del Norte, some 30 kilometers north of this industrial city last Thursday, a regional Army spokesman said yesterday.
