Wall Street banker Hussain Qaragholi's entire adult life has been geared toward this moment in history.

The Iraqi-born New Yorker plans to take a leave of absence from his job to help rebuild his country's economy. The 35-year-old, who left Iraq with his family in 1980 ``because people started disappearing,'' studied business and foreign relations precisely because he'd always hoped to return to his birthplace and put his skills to use. He wants to initiate investment and trade between Iraqi and American businesses.
