Apr. 26--On most workdays, Jack Bernier, 46, wears a neatly pressed, tan shirt with the name of his company, State Farm Insurance, embroidered over the chest pocket. State Farm has been good to him, he says. He's worked for the firm for 25 years, most recently at its operations center in Woodbury.
But after State Farm officials announced Thursday the company had chosen to consolidate its regional operations in Lincoln, Neb. -- and not Woodbury -- Bernier said he doesn't plan on moving. Bernier has two kids in high school and extended family in the Twin Cities ...
