SADDAM Hussein' s wife and daughters have been thrown out of Syria, it was revealed last night.
They were returned to Iraq five weeks after fleeing over the border. The move followed intense U.S. pressure on Damascus.
Saddam's first wife Sajida - mother of his sons Uday and Qusay - and their three daughters are being sheltered by a tribal leader in Mosul, according to Haitham Rashid Wihaib, the dictator's former chief of protocol.
Allied commanders will be desperate to find the women, who could have vital information on whether Saddam is still alive and his whereabouts. The tribal chief is said to be trying to ...
