Beware landscape lighting manufacturers: there's a new kid on the block, and he will be hawking space-age technology.
Randy Beeman of Beeman Lighting is hitting the market with a line of landscape lights that use light-emitting diodes, or L.E.D.s, which produce more light with less power and can endure years longer than conventional bulbs.
After fitting the technology to the application, Beeman figured he could mix and match the L.E.D.s to produce different colors -- another option for end-users.
