Fushun Special Steel reports 1Q 2003 net profit drop of over 75%
Shanghai. April 29. INTERFAX-CHINA - Fushun Special Steel Co. Ltd. (Fushun Special Steel) announced a 2003 1Q net profit fall of 75.05% year-on-year to RMB 3.01 mln (USD 363,527), according to information Interfax sourced from the company's quarterly report.
In the first quarter of 2003, to overcome the impact of sharp rises in the prices of its raw materials, the company focused its efforts on improving product quality and reducing costs.
