Apr. 29--DAVOS FORUM ORGANIZER TO HOLD EXTRA MEETING IN JORDAN IN JUNE: GENEVA--The World Economic Forum said Monday it will convene an extraordinary annual meeting in Jordan on June 21-23 under the patronage of King Abdullah II in a bid to replace a "period of conflict with the spirit of cooperation." The Geneva-based organization annually convenes a meeting of global government and business leaders in the eastern Swiss resort of Davos in January, but it rarely holds an extraordinary meeting.
