(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Dodgers broke Philadelphia's strong pitching surge with a 6-2 victory last night and will hope to continue the winning trend this evening in the third contest of the four-game set.

The Dodgers, who have won four of their last five games, will send southpaw Odalis Perez to the mound tonight. The Phillies, who have won six of their last eight, will counter with righty Vicente Padilla.

Perez, who will make his fifth start of the year, is still trying for his first victory. His last outing, last Friday at Pittsburgh, resulted in a no- decision when he surrendered four ...
