Apr. 29--WESLACO, Texas--On the southeast edge of this arid, flat South Texas town is an oasis of lush greenery and wildlife. The Lakeview Mobile Home Park is unlike most retirement communities in this region.
Here, the residents live among the forest's thick smell and the birds' songs; some even say there are more different species of birds in these 23 acres than anywhere else in the Rio Grande Valley.
