Byline: RUTH SCHUBERT P-I reporter
To advocates of victims of domestic violence, the story told in divorce court papers filed by Tacoma police Chief David Brame and his wife, Crystal, reads like a Greek tragedy, where the ending is painfully clear long before the story ends.

Access to and prior threats with weapons.
Threats of suicide or homicide.
Violence when the victim is leaving the relationship.
Depression.
