Power demand in Indonesia is estimated to grow around 10% annually, making it one of the most vigorous markets in Southeast Asia. As a result, the local state-owned power utility, PT PERUSAHAN UMUM LISTRICK NEGARA (PLN), recently awarded a power plant construction contract to an international consortium led by SIEMENS AG of Germany.
