CIMA LABS INC. (NASDAQ NMS: CIMA) today reported record operating results for the first quarter of 2003 ended March 31. Revenues nearly doubled and operating income was up more than 150% from the first quarter of 2002, driven by strong sales of Alavert(TM) and Remeron(R) SolTabs(TM), fast-dissolve medications that CIMA manufactures for its partners Wyeth and Organon.
