May 1--Darting above the Hill Country in his Robinson R44 Raven helicopter, Mike Luigs holds a view of the land markedly different from other brokers.
He doesn't charge a commission, shies away from intensive-minded developers and prefers the company of multimillionaires who want to buy land to spare it from progress.
"To the extent we can," Luigs said, "we try to work with buyers that have a concern for environmental conservation. Once you fracture a large tract of land, it's very, very expensive and hideously difficult to put it back together."
