In light of the budgetary woes facing city government, the San Diego Convention Center Corp. proposed a decrease in its annual subsidy. Originally set at $5.7 million, the Convention Center Corp., working in conjunction with a City Council budget subcommittee and a private consultant trimmed the sum to $4.1 million for 2004.
