SEATTLE _ When Mike Price first began settling in as Alabama's football coach earlier this year, he thought about building a home on Lake Tuscaloosa.
But thinking that might take too long and not wanting to live somewhere temporary in between, he decided instead to buy one of the most attractive houses on the market_the home of his Alabama coaching predecessor, Dennis Franchione.
Price joked that some had warned him not to buy that house because it was "haunted" and had "bad karma" given Franchione's brief two-year tenure at Alabama.
So maybe that's what got him.
